The 2025 NFL Draft served as the fulfillment of the dreams of over 200 football athletes. They must have dreamt of this moment since high school when they started to take the sport seriously. As some of these players embark on their pro careers, they’ve never forgotten the schools that helped in their journey.

That said, NFL Auctions had some of the 2025 first-round picks sign draft jerseys with the proceeds going to their high school football programs. Here’s top overall pick Cam Ward signing a draft jersey for the benefit of the Columbia High School Roughnecks.

Ward played at Columbia before accepting his lone college football scholarship offer with the University of Incarnate Word. He eventually transferred to Washington State before playing for the Miami Hurricanes. While he played for only one season at Miami, it was enough to make him the top QB prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft.

With less than a day remaining for the bidding, the price of his signed jersey reached $5,100. That amount is at par with the bid price for Abdul Carter’s signed draft jersey. The New York Giants selected the 2024 Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year with the third overall pick. Pennsylvania’s La Salle High School will receive the proceeds of the winning bid.

Third is Heisman Trophy finalist Ashton Jeanty, whose Las Vegas Raiders draft jersey is at $3,150 after 32 bids. Before becoming a sensation for Boise State, Jeanty was a standout at Texas’s Lone Star High School.

The eventual Heisman winner, 2025 NFL Draft second overall pick Travis Hunter, has his Jacksonville Jaguars draft jersey at $3,000. While he will be representing his home state of Florida, Hunter played high school football at Collins Hill in Georgia.

Finally, Dallas Cowboys guard Tyler Booker completes the top five after his signed draft jersey reaches $2,650. The bidding for these jerseys will be until May 13, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
