2027 4-star center Cherif Millogo transfers to La Canada Flintridge St. Francis (Calif.)

One of the top center prospects in the 2027 class has made a cross-country move for the latter half of his high school basketball career.
On Wednesday, ‘Nxtuphoops’ reported that towering blue-chipper Cherif Millogo has enrolled at St. Francis in La Canada Flintridge, Calif. He was previously at Cambridge ATS in Braintree, Mass., but did not play last season due to a torn ACL.
A native of Burkina Faso, Millogo checks in at 7-foot-2 and 210 pounds. He began to catch the attention of programs this summer after impressing at the New England Preparatory School Athletic Council (NEPSAC) Showcase in June.
Alabama and Georgia have reportedly offered the center. Following the NEPSAC Showcase, Millogo told KSR’s Jacob Polacheck that Kentucky is another program that has reached out. Millogo spoke with Pro Insight after the event as he continues to develop his skillset heading into next season.
“For my skill now, I’m trying to take more shots and play a lot of defense,” he said. “My favorite player is Kevin Durant…I started to play basketball because of him. I see him play and I just love basketball now … I’m trying to play more inside, outside, everything.”

Millogo is currently the No. 74 overall prospect and No. 7 center in the 2027 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. Rivals ranks him higher than other recruiting services, as he checks in as the No. 38 recruit nationally.
The addition is a notable one for St. Francis. Last season, the Golden Knights won 13 of their first 17 games but finished with a 16-13 record. Millogo will be a notable force in the paint and will be one of the top big men in the Golden State, regardless of class.
According to the school’s website, the Golden Knights will open their 2025-26 season with the Cantwell Sacred Heart of Mary Tournament from Nov. 17-21. Their first home game is currently scheduled for Nov. 26 against Arcadia.
