2027 QB Jalen Parker ties New Jersey passing TDs record

In Winslow Township‘s 14-12 victory over Brick Memorial last week in the Group 4 state semifinal, a New Jersey high school football record was tied.

According to a Courier Post report, Eagles’ junior quarterback Jalen Parker tied the state passing touchdowns record of 105, tying him with Timber Creek’s Devin Leary, who nearly a decade ago back in 2017 had set the New Jersey high school football record for scoring throws.

Now in Parker’s final game of his junior season in the state championship on Sunday afternoon against Ramapo, he will have a chance to break the record and stand alone in the state’s record books for the kind of breakout campaign he’s currently having.

Entering the season armed with one of the top receiving corps in the Northeast, Parker has been able to deliver in his junior year at Winslow Township. Parker through 13 games has completed 194 of 310 passes for 3,048 yards and 38 touchdowns. The signal caller has also shown off the wheels when he’s needed to, rushing for 137 yards and scoring three times.

Parker had himself a very efficient outing versus Brick Memorial last weekend, completing 16 of 20 passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns.

Though Parker’s touchdown total from a year ago of 43 is five ahead of where he’s currently at this season, the junior’s yardage is already more than what he produced in 2024. Last season, Parker threw for 2,908 yards and as a freshman had 1,500 with 21 touchdowns.
