Alabama High School Football: Clay-Chalkville wins fifth state title

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Drive for Five is complete. Having already won four other Alabama high school football state championships in their program history, Clay-Chalkville added a fifth to the trophy case.

Senior quarterback Aaron Frye totaled over 300 all-purpose yards and five total touchdowns in leading Clay-Chalkville to a 38-21 victory over Saraland for the Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) Class 6A state championship Friday night at Protective Stadium.

With the victory for the Cougars, the secured their fifth state championship in program history.
