Bixby sets record with 92-0 rout of Enid

When it comes to scoring points this season for the Massey Ratings No. 1 ranked team in the country, the Bixby Spartans, there’s been little problem doing so on any given night.

On Thursday night against winless Enid, the Spartans scored a school-record amount of points. Bixby went into halftime with a 71-0 lead, aided by three pick sixes and a punt return for a touchdown, as they rolled to a 92-0 victory. The 92 points is the most ever scored in a single game for Bixby.

Bixby improved to 7-0 on the season as the Spartans have been not only one of the most dominant teams within the state of Oklahoma, but on a national level as well. The Spartans are averaging a staggering 66 points per game and over the course of the last three weeks, have totally crushed anyone in their path.

In victories over Enid, Moore and North over the last three weeks, Bixby has out-scored the teams by a combined 237-13 during that stretch. The closest game the Spartans have played this season came in the regular season opener against Owasso, a 49-21 victory.

The undefeated Spartans feature one of the more interesting, uptempo high school offenses in the country as they shift into several different formation looks all throughout the course of a game. Add in their aggressive gameplay on offense and it equals one of the highest scoring teams in the country.
