The high school football regular season concluded for most teams in Colorado last week, and the top programs in the Centennial State are now focused on the postseason.

Another jam-packed slate is on deck as teams continue their quests for a state title. Below are the top 25 Colorado high school football teams, according to the Massey Ratings, as of Nov. 4.

1. Cherry Creek Bruins

The best team in Colorado high school football improved to 10-0 after a 52-15 victory over Grandview. Brady Vodicka threw for 290 yards and four touchdowns, while Maxwell Lovett caught four passes for 90 yards and two touchdowns. Jayden Fox had 99 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns. Having a favorable record gives Cherry Creek a first-round bye in the Class 5A state playoffs.

2. Mountain Vista Golden Eagles

The Golden Eagles remained undefeated after a 56-7 domination of Castle View. Marquise Reese finished with 317 passing yards and five touchdowns, while Brooklyn Bailey had 134 passing yards and three touchdowns. Ja’Pree Jennings had nine catches for 106 yards and a TD, while Reese, Sammy Brown, Aidan Conway, and Hudson Modrzewski also scored touchdowns. Mountain Vista will enjoy a first-round bye in the Class 5A state playoffs.

3. Ralston Valley Mustangs

The Mustangs maintained a spotless record after a 49-20 victory over Arvada West. Logan Gabler finished with 128 passing yards and three touchdowns, while Levi Rillos rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns. Rillos, Colby Kurtz, and Ethan Shirazi each had a receiving TD. Ralston Valley gets a first round bye in the Colorado high school football Class 5A state playoffs.

4. Legend Titans

The Titans finished the regular season with six consecutive games, including a 42-28 victory over Regis Jesuit. Ryken Banks had a splendid all-around game, finishing with 181 rushing yards, 100 receiving yards, and three touchdowns. With a 9-1 record, Legend gets a first-round bye in the Class 5A state tournament.

5. Valor Christian Eagles

A 42-7 victory over Rock Canyon gives them an 8-2 record. Chase Hanosh rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns, while Jackson Coleman caught for 103 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, their defense generated three sacks and an interception. Valor Christian gets a first-round bye in the Colorado high school football Class 5A state playoffs.
