The high school football season continued in Colorado last week, as many of the top programs in the Centennial State were in action. Plenty of interesting results followed.

Another jam-packed slate is on deck as teams continue their quests for a state title. Below are the top 25 Colorado high school football teams, according to the Massey Ratings, as of Oct. 28.

1. Cherry Creek Bruins

The best team in Colorado high school football remained undefeated after shutting down Smoky Hill 42-0. Brady Vodicka threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns, while Alijah Landrum-Hamilton finished with 83 receiving yards and a touchdown. Jayden Fox, Braylen Lumbus, and Chance Phillips each had a rushing touchdown. Cherry Creek can complete a perfect regular season by defeating Grandview on October 31.

2. Mountain Vista Golden Eagles

The Golden Eagles improved to 9-0 after dominating Rock Canyon 54-7. Marquise Reese played superbly, throwing for 365 passing yards and six touchdowns, while adding another rushing TD. Brooklyn Bailey (156 receiving yards, two TDs), Sammy Brown (94 yards, two TDs), and Luke Bentley (82 yards, two TDs) benefitted from Reese’s big game. Mountain Vista will finish the 2025 regular season against Castle View on October 30.

3. Ralston Valley Mustangs

The Mustangs remained perfect after beating Denver East 48-7. Logan Gabler finished with 238 passing yards, 88 rushing yards, and five touchdowns, while Nico Benallo collected 134 receiving yards and three TDs. David Pavlich and Sawyer Blomquist each had a rushing touchdown. Ralston Valley will finish the regular season against Arvada West on the 31st. 

4. Legend Titans

The Titans are on a five-game winning streak after dominating Douglas County 51-9. DJ Bordeaux finished with 129 passing yards and two touchdowns, while Ryken Banks rushed for 104 yards, caught 41 yards, and scored four TDs. Legend will face Regis Jesuit on the 31st.

5. Valor Christian Eagles

The Eagles have won three in a row after a one-sided 49-6 game versus Fruita Monument. Titus Huard had 109 yards and four touchdowns, while Chase Hanosh rushed for 112 yards and a TD. Cash Spence had 48 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Valor Christian will finish the 2025 Colorado high school football season against Rock Canyon on October 30.
