The District of Columbia High School football playoffs have two divisions. Class A has the Private Bracket, featuring the schools under the Public Charter School Athletic Association, and the Stripes Bracket, comprised of schools under the District of Columbia State Athletic Association.

Meanwhile, Class AA also has a Private/Charter Bracket and a Stripes Bracket. According to the On3 Composite Rankings, both classes feature some of the district’s best teams. This article shows how the state tournaments unfolded from Nov. 15 to Dec. 7, 2024.

The On3 Composite High School Football Team Ranking is a proprietary algorithm that compiles rankings listed in the public domain by respected High School media and data companies. It includes Massey, Max Preps, Cal Preps, ESPN, and SI, creating the industry’s most comprehensive and geographically balanced High School Team Ranking.
