Final Colorado High School Football Rankings: Top 25 Teams - Dec. 9
The 2025 Colorado high school football season is over as the latest state champions are basking in their success. As the offseason starts, here’s how Massey ranked the state’s best squads as the calendar closes.
The Massey Ratings system, officially used during the BCS era, is a model that ranks sports teams by analyzing game outcomes, strength of schedule, and margin of victory.
1. Cherry Creek Bruins
The Bruins completed a perfect 14-0 season after dominating Ralston Valley in the Colorado high school football Class 5A state championship. This is Cherry Creek’s sixth state title in the last seven years and 15th overall. Jayden Fox finished with 149 rushing yards and three touchdowns, while Brady Vodicka threw four touchdowns. Ty Goettsche contributed 102 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
With their dynasty sustained, the Bruins must defend their title next year without incoming college football players Fox (UCLA), Goettsche (BYU), Vodicka (Louisiana Tech), LB Braylon Hodge (Oregon), DL Tufanua Umu-Cais (Washington), WR Maxwell Lovett (Kansas State), OT Oliver Miller (Kansas State), and EDGE Cade Holles (Wake Forest)
