Illinois High School Boys Basketball Class 3A Super Sixteen 2025: Tournament Bracket, Scores

Only 16 teams remain in contention for the 2025 Illinois high school boys basketball Class 3A state championship. The ‘Super Sixteen’ includes finalists from the Chicago (Brother Rice), Washington, Chicago (Little Village), and Glen Ellyn (Glenbard South) Sectionals.

Sectional finalists from Antioch, Rochelle, Decatur (Eisenhower), and Marion (H.S.) complete the competitor’s field for the state title. The Illinois Class 3A Super Sixteen starts on March 7 and the knockout format tournament will continue until the state championship game on March 15 at the University of Illinois’ State Farm Center.

Leading this elite group of basketball teams is DePaul College Prep, the top-ranked team in the Illinois On3 Composite Team Rankings. Other highly ranked teams in the Class 3A Super Sixteen are Mount Carmel (11th) and Brother Rice (12th).
