IMG Academy (Fla.) girls basketball beats Long Island Lutheran (N.Y.) at Hoophall Classic

On day four of the Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Massachusetts, IMG Academy (Fla.) held off a Long Island Lutheran (N.Y.) comeback bid to win 70-54 in a battle of national top-20 girls basketball programs.
Long Island trailed 40-15 at halftime, but the second-half comeback fell short. UConn point guard signee Kelis Fisher led IMG with 28 points while Tennessee five-star small forward Deniya Prawl scored 13 and Stanford signee Lara Somfai added 11 of her own.

Just one girls basketball matchup remains at the Hoophall Classic. Incarnate Word Academy (Mo.) will face Etiwanda (Calif.) on Monday at 9:00 a.m. Eastern on ESPNU.
