Jon Gruden hits practice field with a Tennessee high school football team

It’s not everyday you get to hang with a former NFL head coach when you’re a high school football player. For the Jefferson County Patriots of Tennessee, they got to spend a little time with a Super Bowl champion head coach on at their practice field.
Former Las Vegas Raiders/Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden posted on his X, formerly known as Twitter, account himself hanging out with the Jefferson County football team on Tuesday evening.
‘On the practice field with the Jefferson County High School Patriots in Dandridge, Tennessee and they’ve got me feelin’ NICEY!‘
“Here we are at Jefferson County High School, the home of the Patriots. This is a good football team that’s working hard and I think they’re gonna be great,” Gruden said in the video.

Gruden has become well known in his affiliation with Barstool Sports for his social media videos on opening boxes sent to him from universities from around the country. The former NFL head coach also has been more active in going around the country, seeing different NFL, college and high school football programs.
Stopping by to see Jefferson County just became the latest in a trend of random events Gruden has undertaken and continues to do in his new role after coaching. What seems to be very evident is that the Super Bowl XXXVII champion is having a lot of fun traveling around in his life after being a professional coach.
