Kansas commit Kaydin Jones sets multiple school records
In the Jenks Trojans’ wild 55-48 victory over Mustang Broncos last week, Kansas three-star running back commitment Kaydin Jones in the win notched multiple school records.
Jones this past Friday night against the Broncos set numerous school records, which included the single game rushing yards (445), touchdowns in a contest (eight scores), all-purpose yards in a game (549) and touchdowns for a high school career at Jenks (67).
Jones, a 6-foot, 170-pound running back, is the No. 465 overall prospect, No. 6 in Oklahoma and No. 30 RB in the 2026 cycle, per the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. The running back was committed to Oklahoma State, but flipped his pledge to Kansas very recently.
When it comes to the state of Oklahoma and the most productive running backs, Jones has stood at the top of the leader boards.

Over the last couple of seasons, the Kansas pledge has amassed well over 5,000 all-purpose yards and 60-plus touchdowns after his freshman campaign. Before transferring to Jenks for his sophomore season, as a freshman the running back has rushed for 1,264 yards and scored 11 touchdowns on 7.3 yards per carry.
Jenks is currently 5-1 on the season with the Trojans only loss being to Oklahoma’s top-ranked Bixby back on Sep. 26. Next up for the Trojans is a road matchup against Deer Creek on Thursday night.
