The high school football season continued in Kansas last week, as many of the top programs in the Sunflower State were in action. Plenty of interesting results followed.

Another jam-packed slate is on deck as teams continue their quests for a state title. Below are the top 25 Kansas high school football teams, according to the Massey Ratings, as of Oct. 7.

The Saints remain the best team in Kansas high school football after reaching the 40-point mark for the fourth consecutive game. Their last game was a 43-14 victory over Bishop Miege, in which Calin Arndt dominated with 249 rushing yards and three touchdowns. St. Thomas Aquinas can improve to 6-0 by defeating Rockhurst on October 10.

2. Andale Indians

Their last game was a 45-3 demolition of Nickerson, the third time they’ve limited an opponent to seven points or less.
