NBPA to conduct Top 100 youth basketball camp in June

The National Basketball Players Association relaunches its Top 100 elite youth basketball camp. This year’s edition will be on June 9-13 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. The NBPA will gather top-ranked high school basketball players for a week-long program that includes skills development, tune-up games, and mentoring from past and present NBA players.
However, for 2025, the NBPA will select the Top 100 participants based on a merit-based system that could bring top local and international talent to the Rock Hill Sports and Events Center. While high school basketball prospects can apply for a spot, top scouts will rank the nominees before selecting the participants.
Meanwhile, the NBPA enhances the 31st edition of the Top 100 camp by adding a camp director who will help train high school basketball standouts and share insights with the coaches. Former NBA player Phil Handy will be the camp director. Handy has three NBA championships in six appearances as an assistant coach and is currently the Mist BC head coach.
Likewise, the NBPA Top 100 will have a coaching program wherein past and present NBPA members can improve their coaching knowledge by learning from former NBA and NCAA coaches. This initiative can help them connect with high school basketball talent and prepare them for a potential coaching career.
