No. 2 IMG Academy (Fla.) holds off Hun School (N.J.)

Ahead of their annual rivalry game against St. Frances Academy (Md.), which just defeated The St. James Academy (Va.) 35-0, the No. 2 ranked IMG Academy Ascenders needed to take care of some business of their own in the Garden State Saturday night.
IMG Academy (9-0) got out to a 14-0 first quarter lead and never looked back as they defeated Hun School (N.J.), 31-13, at The Hun School Athletic Complex in Princeton.
The Ascenders opened up the first period with two touchdowns, both scoring passes from sophomore quarterback Jayden Wade. The Raiders would respond in the second quarter with a touchdown of their own on a short scoring run, heading into the half trailing 14-7.

Hun School would come to within 14-13 when Warren Hernandez took the opening kickoff of the second half 85 yards to the house. That’s as close as the Raiders would get the rest of the evening as the Ascenders would score 17 unanswered points en route to their ninth straight win of the season.
