The pain and agony of losing a high school football playoff game might get the best of players, but according to a WLWT report, it looks like an Ohio team took it too far.

After Taft‘s 25-19 playoff loss to Indian Hill last week, the Senators’ football team is being accused of destroying the locker room they were in after the game.

According to the police report obtained by WLWT, it stated that “large holes kicked and punched into nearly every piece of drywall,” plus damage to the ceiling. WLWT’s Danielle Dindak posted the statement by Cincinnati Public Schools regarding the incident tied to Taft’s alleged treatment of Indian Hill’s locker room.

“We do not condone destructive behavior and remain committed to promoting sportsmanship and respect at all athletic events. Cincinnati Public Schools will continue to work with the leadership of Indian Hill.”

The Senators were 11-0 heading into last week’s contest against the Braves, having shut out eight of the eleven opponents that had previously faced leading into the contest. Taft had only yielded 41 points all season long, with its closest game being a 33-27 win over Archbishop alter back on Aug. 29.

In the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) Region 16 playoff game, the Senators trailed 18-6 at halftime before dropping their first contest of the season.
