Ohio High School Football Top 25 Rankings - Nov. 17

The postseason continued in the Buckeye State last week, and another jam-packed slate is on deck as teams continue their quests for a state title. Below are the top 25 Ohio high school football teams, according to the Massey Ratings, as of Nov. 17.
1. Elder Panthers
The Panthers remained undefeated in the 2025 Ohio high school football season after edging Princeton 32-30. Elder will advance to the Region 4 finals against St. Xavier on November 21.
2. St. Edward Eagles
The Eagles improved to 10-2 after a 38-6 victory over Whitmer. St. Edward raced to a 31-6 halftime lead and never looked back. The Eagles will face Mentor in the Region 1 finals on November 21.
3. Archbishop Hoban Knights
The Knights improved to 10-1 after a 35-3 domination of Hudson. Archbishop Hoban scored all their points in the first half and shut down the Explorers the rest of the way. They will face Walsh Jesuit in the Ohio high school football Region 5 finals on November 21.
4. St. Xavier Bombers
The Bombers stayed alive in the Region 4 playoffs after edging Archbishop Moeller 17-13. Daniel Vollmer’s two-yard rushing touchdown with a minute left in regulation proved to be the winning score. St. Xavier will face Elder in the regional finals on the 21st.

5. Bishop Watterson Eagles
The Eagles remain undefeated in the 2025 Ohio high school football season after beating Tri-Valley in the Region 11 semifinals 48-6. Drew Bellisari finished with 269 passing yards, 91 rushing yards, and four touchdowns (three passing). Jack McCoy added two rushing touchdowns, while Carter Bellisari added 118 receiving yards. Bishop Watterson will face Steubenville in the regional finals on November 21.
