Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin's son, Knox, delivers game-winning TD pass
Though 2028 quarterback Knox Kiffin, who is the son of Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, has only seen time on the field sparingly through his time playing high school football so far, he’s already showing off the clutch gene.
The sophomore stepped at quarterback in for his team, Oxford (Miss.), and threw the game-winning touchdown in the Chargers’ thrilling 43-42 overtime victory over Germantown on Friday night. Oxford improved to 6-1 on the season ahead of next week’s game against Clinton.
The sophomore signal caller has seen little time behind center, playing as the backup to junior Drew Dean (1,314 yards, 11 touchdowns). So far this season, Knox in limited action has thrown for 109 yards on four completions.
