BALTIMORE, Md.- The first-ever Overtime Nationals came with excitement, intrigue and curiosity by onlookers on hand and afar.

With No. 3 St. Frances Academy facing No. 21 Corner Canyon for what was dubbed as a high school football national championship game ended how most of the Panthers games went this season: Blowout fashion.

Behind a suffocating defense and timely offense, St. Frances Academy rolled to a 37-20 victory over Corner Canyon for the Overtime Nationals championship at Under Armour Stadium on Wednesday night.

Virginia signee Jae’Oyn Williams was the catalyst on the offensive side of the ball as the quarterback threw two touchdown passes in the win. Senior running back Jaylen Burke also added a scoring run.

Corner Canyon quarterback Helaman Cusaga (Texas A&M signee) was under duress for most of the night as the future Aggie couldn’t ever fully get into a rhythm.

The Panthers (9-1) carried a 21-0 lead into intermission and never looked back.

The Chargers (12-2) avoided being shutout by scoring twice in the second half.
