Slam Magazine announces its 2025 high school girls basketball All-Americans

Slam Magazine revealed their high school girls’ basketball All-Americans for the 2024-25 season. Leading the way is Aaliyah Chavez, the leading prospect from the Class of 2025. The Oklahoma commit led the Monterey Plainsmen to the Texas high school girls basketball Class 5A Division II state championship.

In addition to that team achievement, the point guard from Lubbock, Texas, garnered prestigious individual awards, including the Gatorade National Player of the Year and the Naismith High School Girls Basketball Player of the Year.

Chavez is also a 2025 McDonald’s All-American and represented the United States in the Nike Hoop Summit. She finished her high school basketball career with 4,796 points, the 14th-highest total in girls’ basketball.

Joining her on the 2025 Slam Magazine high school girls basketball All-American list is Sienna Betts. The forward from Grandview High School got her third consecutive Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year distinction after averaging 23.5 points, 16.5 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 3.4 blocks a game during her senior season. Betts was also the 2025 McDonald’s All-American game MVP and the Morgan Wooten National Player of the Year.

Third on the list is Aaliyah Crump, the Texas commit who led Minnetonka to a state championship. During her junior season, she averaged 24.4 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.7 steals, and 3.3 assists per game. Those numbers also earned her an All-State distinction. Crump finished her high school basketball career at Montverde Academy.

Meanwhile, Agot Makeer also played for Montverde by way of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. She helped Montverde finish with a 25-1 record by averaging 10 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game. The South Carolina commit also helped Montverde finish second in the Chipotle Nationals.

Grace Knox and Jazzy Davidson complete the 2025 Slam Magazine High School Girls Basketball All-Americans. Knox played for Etiwanda High School before committing to LSU. Finally, Davidson finished her senior year at Clackamas, averaging 29.3 points, 8.7 rebounds, and 3.3 steals per game. In addition to being Oregon’s Gatorade Player of the Year, she also helped Team USA win gold in the 2024 FIBA U-18 Women’s AmeriCup in Colombia.
