The high school football regular season concluded for most teams in South Carolina last week, and the top programs in the Palmetto State are now focused on the postseason.

Another jam-packed slate is on deck as teams continue their quests for a state title. Below are the top 25 South Carolina high school football teams, according to the Massey Ratings, as of Nov. 3.

1. Dutch Fork Foxes

The Foxes are on a five-game winning streak after edging Irmo 28-24. This victory completes Dutch Fork’s 2025 South Carolina high school football regular season at 8-1, a record that qualifies them for the playoffs.

2. Northwestern Trojans

The Trojans improved to 9-1 after a 51-13 victory over Indian Land. Xavier Means completed 27 of 29 pass attempts for 311 yards and a touchdown. He also added 80 rushing yards and another TD. Means’s performance helped Payton Vining (112 receiving yards, three TDs), Kameron Vance (76 yards, one TD), and Jonathan Spurgeon (46 yards, two TDs) deliver solid output. Meanwhile, the Northwestern defense completed 4.5 sacks.

3. South Pointe Stallions

The Stallions earned their ninth consecutive victory after dominating Richland Northeast 70-0. J’Zavien Currence finished with 96 passing yards, 71 receiving yards, and three touchdowns (two passing). R.J. Brown completed two rushing touchdowns, while Rasean Brown tallied 94 yards and a rushing TD. Malik Ratliff, Dailan Duncan, and Zymir Gordon-Miles each had a touchdown. Meanwhile, the South Pointe defense blanked the Cavaliers with the help of 16 tackles for losses. The Stallions will continue the 2025 South Carolina high school football season against Beaufort on November 7.

4. Irmo Yellowjackets

The Yellowjackets’ perfect run ended at Dutch Fork’s hands. Despite that loss, Irmo remains a formidable foe during the playoffs. After all, they’ve limited their four previous opponents before that loss to 23 total points.

5. South Florence Bruins

The Bruins are on a seven-game winning streak following their 51-23 conquest of Hartsville. Cameron James (179 rushing yards, two touchdowns) and Gabe McLaughlin (153 yards, three TDs) powered South Florence’s ground attack. Meanwhile, JayAun Perkins finished with 132 receiving yards and caught a touchdown from Messiah Jackson, who also added a rushing TD. The Bruins’ 2025 South Carolina high school football season continues against Darlington on November 6.
