South Carolina High School Football Rankings: Top 25 Teams - Oct. 21

The high school football season continued in South Carolina last week, as many of the top programs in the Palmetto State were in action. Plenty of interesting results followed.

Another jam-packed slate is on deck as teams continue their quests for a state title. Below are the top 25 South Carolina high school football teams, according to the Massey Ratings, as of Oct. 21.

1. Northwestern Trojans

The best team in South Carolina high school football are on a five-game winning streak after defeating Rock Hill 45-14. Northwestern will close the 2025 regular season against Indian Land on October 31.

2. Dutch Fork Foxes

The Foxes’ 49-0 shutout victory against Lexington improved their record to 6-1. Dutch Fork’s run game generated 188 rushing yards and six touchdowns. Their season continues with a home game against River Bluff on October 24.

3. Irmo Yellowjackets

The Yellowjackets escaped with a 14-3 victory over White Knoll, improving their record to 8-0. Irmo will try to clinch their ninth consecutive victory by defeating Chapin on the 24th.

4. South Pointe Stallions

Make it seven consecutive victories for the Stallions after a 48-7 domination of Lancaster. J’Zavien Currence tallied 118 passing yards, 115 rushing yards, and three touchdowns (two rushing). R.J. Brown finished with 76 rushing yards and three TDs, while the South Pointe defense contributed 12 tackles for losses (including two sacks). The Stallions will continue the 2025 South Carolina high school football season against Dreher on the 24th.

5. South Florence Bruins

For the fifth straight game, the Bruins limited their opponent to seven points or less. In their 35-7 victory over Wilson, Messiah Jackson rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns, while Cameron James contributed 150 yards and a rushing TD. On defense, Terry Gordon tallied three sacks. South Florence will face Lower Richland on October 24, their fourth consecutive road game.

6. Ridge View Blazers

The Blazers earned their fifth consecutive victory by defeating West Florence 29-7. Spencer Bobian rushed for 144 yards and a touchdown, while Bijon Virgo had a passing and a rushing touchdown. Ridge View will travel to Sumter on October 24.

7. T. L. Hanna Yellow Jackets

The Yellow Jackets stretched their winning streak to seven games after defeating J.L. Mann 55-17. T. L. Hanna’s ground game was in full gear, generating 570 yards and seven touchdowns. Emari Nance rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns, while Issac Galloway added 106 yards and a TD. The Yellow Jackets’s 2025 South Carolina high school football season continues with a home game against Easley on the 24th.

8. White Knoll Timberwolves

The Timberwolves scored only three points in their loss to Irmo. However, they remain in the top ten despite suffering back-to-back losses. White Knoll will try to bounce back against Lexington on the 24th.

9. James Island Trojans

After losing to Summerville, the Trojans responded with a victory against Fort Dorchester. Connor Dantzler threw for 272 yards and three touchdowns, all caught by Raphael Puiu. James Island will play against Ashley Ridge on the 24th.

10. Greenwood Eagles

The Eagles are now at 7-1 in the 2025 South Carolina high school football season. In their 49-7 win over Woodmont, Tristan Lewis threw for two touchdowns. Martavious Hamilton and Lewis combined for 156 rushing yards and two TDs. Greenwood’s next game will be against J.L. Mann at home.
