South Carolina High School Football Rankings: Top 25 Teams - Oct. 6

The high school football season continued in South Carolina last week, as many of the top programs in the Palmetto State were in action. Plenty of interesting results followed.
Another jam-packed slate is on deck as teams continue their quests for a state title. Below are the top 25 South Carolina high school football teams, according to the Massey Ratings, as of Oct. 6.
1. Northwestern Trojans
The best team in South Carolina high school football clinched their third straight victory by defeating Clover 52-24. Xavier Means had a big day, tallying 331 passing yards, 83 rushing yards, and five touchdowns (three passing). Kameron Vance had 153 receiving yards and two scores, while Nigel Smith rushed for 160 rushing yards and two TDs. Meanwhile, the Northwestern defense registered ten tackles for losses, five sacks, and an interception. The Trojans will face Fort Mill on October 10.
2. South Pointe Stallions
The Stallions pushed their winning streak to five games after their 28-7 victory against Camden. J’Zavien Currence’s all-around performance led to 272 passing yards, 81 rushing yards, and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, R.J. Brown finished with 91 rushing yards, while Malik Ratliff had six catches for 160 passing yards. South Pointe can improve its record to 6-1 with a win against York on October 9.
3. Dutch Fork Foxes
After losing to Oceanside Collegiate Academy, the Foxes responded by shutting down Chapin 50-0. Jaxon Knotts had 181 passing yards and three touchdowns, while Quintin Wilson rushed for 176 yards and three TDs. Sheldon Shine also had a couple of receiving scores, while Braydon Johnson and Kyle Henry each had a touchdown. Dutch Fork will aim for back-to-back victories when they face White Knoll on the 10th.
4. Irmo Yellowjackets
The Yellowjackets remain undefeated six games into the 2025 South Carolina high school football season. Likewise, their victory against Lexington was their first shutout victory this year. Up next for Irmo is a road game against River Bluff on October 10.
5. South Florence Bruins
The Bruins’ 57-6 conquest of Darlington marks the fourth game in which they’ve limited their opponent to seven points or less. Messiah Jackson collected 183 passing yards and five touchdowns (three rushing). Cameron James had 98 rushing yards and two scores, while JayAun Perkins tallied 99 receiving yards and a TD. South Florence will play Lakewood on the road on October 9.
6. Ridge View Blazers
The Blazers extended their winning streak to three after a 44-0 shutout victory against Spring Valley. Spencer Bobian rushed for 119 yards and four touchdowns, while the Ridge View defense registered 11 tackles for losses. The Blazers will travel to face Lugoff-Elgin for an October 10 game.

7. James Island Trojans
For the fifth time in the 2025 South Carolina high school football season, the Trojans have limited their opponent to eight points or less. Connor Dantzler made 182 passing yards, 63 rushing yards, and four touchdowns (three passing). Sam Crumpton had a couple of receiving TDs. James Island can improve to 7-0 by defeating Summerville on October 10.
8. Summerville Green Wave
The Green Wave is on a four-game winning streak after a 57-6 domination of R. B. Stall. Summerville’s 29-point second quarter placed the game out of the Warriors’ reach. They will return to action against James Island on the 10th.
9. T. L. Hanna Yellow Jackets
The Yellow Jackets are on a five-game winning streak following their 32-13 triumph over Hillcrest. Brock Cole tallied 129 rushing yards and a touchdown, while Isaac Galloway added 88 rushing yards and a TD. Up next for T. L. Hanna is an October 10 matchup versus Woodmont.
10. White Knoll Timberwolves
A 35-3 victory against River Bluff extended the Timberwolves’ winning streak to five games. Likewise, the Gators’ three points are the second-fewest allowed in a game. White Knoll’s 2025 South Carolina high school football season continues with an October 10 clash versus Dutch Fork.
