Tennessee High School Football Rankings: Top 25 Teams - Oct. 21

The high school football season continued in Tennessee last week, as many of the top programs in the Volunteer State were in action. Plenty of interesting results followed.

Another jam-packed slate is on deck as teams continue their quests for a state title. Below are the top 25 Tennessee high school football teams, according to the Massey Ratings, as of Oct. 21.

1. Baylor School Red Raiders

The best team in Tennessee high school football are still spotless after defeating North Carolina’s Ambassador Christian. It’s their first shutout victory and fourth home win this season. Baylor School will face Ensworth on October 24.

2. McCallie School Blue Tornados

After losing to Baylor School, the Blue Tornados bounced back with a road win against Knoxville Catholic. Elliott Drapeau and Louis Fortier each had a passing touchdown, while Kris Lloyd, Xavier Fillion, and Jacob Lamontagne had one rushing touchdown each. McCallie School can improve to 7-2 by defeating Montgomery Bell Academy on the 24th.

3. Oakland Patriots

The Patriots haven’t been challenged throughout the 2025 Tennessee high school football season. Their 56-0 victory over LaVergne marked their fifth shutout victory, and scoring 35 first-quarter points placed the game out of reach. Oakland will host Stewarts Creek on the 24th.

4. Ravenwood Raptors

The Raptors dominated Shelbyville Central to score their eighth consecutive victory. Ravenwood can keep its good fortune going with another victory against Coffee County Central on October 24.

5. Brentwood Academy Eagles

The Eagles escaped with a 34-31 victory against Briarcrest Christian to stay undefeated in the 2025 Tennessee high school football season. Crews Jenkins had two rushing touchdowns, while Larry Sanders II rushed for 170 yards and one touchdown. Brentwood Academy will continue its season against Father Ryan on October 24.
