Tennessee High School Football Rankings: Top 25 Teams - Oct. 28

The high school football season continued in Tennessee last week, as many of the top programs in the Volunteer State were in action. Plenty of interesting results followed.

Another jam-packed slate is on deck as teams continue their quests for a state title. Below are the top 25 Tennessee high school football teams, according to the Massey Ratings, as of Oct. 28.

1. Baylor School Red Raiders

The best team in Tennessee high school football improved to 8-0 after a 35-21 victory over Ensworth. Baylor School scored 14 points in both the second and third quarters to remain undefeated this season. The Red Raiders will face Knoxville Catholic on October 31 before the playoffs begin.

2. Oakland Patriots

The Patriots are still undefeated after a 49-0 shutdown of Stewarts Creek. It’s the sixth time they’ve blanked an opponent this season, and they’ve surrendered only 34 points through nine games. Oakland can complete a perfect regular season by defeating Riverdale on October 30.

3. McCallie School Blue Tornados

The Blue Tornados have won back-to-back games after defeating Montgomery Bell Academy 48-21. Elliott Drapeau threw for 152 passing yards and two touchdowns, while Louis Fortier threw another TD. Keeyshawn Tabuteau had 166 receiving yards and a touchdown catch. McCallie School will finish the 2025 Tennessee high school football season against Christ Presbyterian Academy on October 31.

4. Brentwood Academy Eagles

The Eagles made easy work of Father Ryan, 49-7. It’s the sixth time Brentwood Academy limited an opponent to seven points or less. They can improve to 9-0 by defeating Lipscomb Academy on October 31.

5. Ravenwood Raptors

The Raptors are at 9-0 after a 42-7 domination of Coffee County Central. Ravenwood will close the 2025 Tennessee high school football regular season against Brentwood on October 30.
