On-demand sports streaming platform Victory+ will broadcast Texas high school football state championships and select playoff games. According to Sports Business Journal’s Irving Mejia-Hilario, Dave Campbell’s Texas Sports brokered the five-year deal on behalf of the University Interscholastic League.

Under this partnership, Texas Sports will the UIL’s liaison while Victory+ will produce and distribute the games through its platform. This agreement marks the first time Texas high school football games will be available outside regional sports networks.

UIL Executive Director Jamey Harrison shared that the partnership with Victory+ stems from contract disputes with cable television distributors. While Texas high school football is a big deal, some areas in the state cannot access these games due to these conflicts.

A Parent Media Company owns Victory+, which was launched in September 2024. In addition to Texas high school football, they also broadcast Western Hockey League and Women’s National Football Conference games.

Victory+ also added Texas Rangers, Anaheim Ducks, and Dallas Stars games to their platform. The streaming service is available on Android, Google TV, iOS, Roku, and Amazon Fire TV, among others. Furthermore, APMC COO of Sports Jason Walsh said that expanding their high school football coverage will be one of their goals.

Over 150,000 people attended last year’s Texas high school football state championships at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. They saw the following teams win the state championship in their respective classes:
