Suwanee (Ga.) Collins Hill four-star tight end Ethan Davis will announce his college decision on Dec. 12.

He tweeted the news Monday, including an image featuring his previously-revealed top seven schools. Those schools are Cincinnati, Florida State, Georgia, Ole Miss, Penn State, South Carolina and Tennessee.

The On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies – has Davis as the No. 120 overall recruit in the country.

On3 rates him even higher as the No. 83 player in the 2023 On300 and fourth-best tight end in the country. The only tight ends ahead of him are Ashdown (Ark.) four-star Shamar Easter, Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ) four-star Duce Robinson and Portland Central Catholic four-star Riley Williams.

Five of his final seven teams do not have tight end recruits in their 2023 classes.

Penn State has two tight end commits in Fredericksburg (Va.) Riverbend four-star Mathias Barnwell and Reading (Pa.) Exeter Township four-star Joey Schlaffer. Georgia has one tight end pledge in Santa Rosa Beach (Fla.) South Walton four-star Pearce Spurlin.

Ethan Davis is a star on one of the nation’s top teams

Ethan Davis plays for one of the best teams in the country in Suwanee Collins Hill, which is 12-0 heading into the third round of the Class 6A Georgia state playoffs

The 6-foot-5 pass catcher has 45 grabs for 579 yards and six touchdowns this year.

In their 48-6 playoff win over Mableton (Ga.) Pebblebrook this past weekend, Davis had two touchdowns.

“Everything we do works,” Davis told the Gwinnett Daily Post. “No defense in the state can stop what we do. What we do, our standard that we hold ourselves to, we push ourselves to a certain level where we’re not satisfied with being up by 10, being up by 17. If it’s not domination, we’re not satisfied.”
