2023 QB Javance Tupouata-Johnson camps at Oregon, earns offer

It was a great way to end the summer and head into his junior season for Javance Tupouata-Johnson. The 2023 quarterback out of Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Notre Dame traveled to Eugene, camped at Oregon and earned an offer from the Ducks.
“I talked to coach Moorhead this morning and he told me he liked what he saw at the SNL camp. Then he told me he was offering me a scholarship,” said Tupouata-Johnson.
This 6-foot-4, 190-pound signal caller knew he had a strong showing in from the Oregon staff, but the offer still caught him by surprise.
“I felt really confident about my performance at the camp, but actually hearing that I got an offer felt good. It’s always a surprise to get an offer.”
Oregon is the sixth schools to offer Tupouata-Johnson. He also has offers from Arizona State, BYU, Florida State, San Jose State and Toledo.

It is too early to talk favorites, but this was Tupouata-Johnson’s second visit to Eugene and the Ducks have made a good impression.
“Every offer is important to me and it’s a blessing any time you get an opportunity to play at the next level, but the vibe was cool,” he said.
“The staff was very welcoming from the moment I got there and it was nice to be able to camp on the field that Marcus Mariota played on.”
