The 2024 NCAA Wrestling Championships now have all 10 finals set for Saturday night following Friday night’s Session 4.

There were upsets, loud roars, insanity, you name it. That’s just wrestling and the best session of any tournament concluded with 20 guys searching for an NCAA title.

Below are the 10 finals matchups for Saturday night after an epic round of semifinals.

125 lbs.

No. 3 Drake Ayala (Iowa) vs. No. 8 Richie Figueroa (Arizona State)

Iowa turned back the clock with a 125 pound finalist, although not named Spencer Lee. Figueroa kept his magical run in the wild west bracket going for the Sun Devils.

133 lbs.

No. 1 Daton Fix (Oklahoma State) vs. No. 6 Vito Arujau (Cornell)

Arujau beat Lehigh’s Ryan Crookman in a third times the charm situation, having lost the two first two. He beat Fix in last year’s tournament en route to a national title. Fix is now a four-time finalist and looks for his first title.

141 lbs.

No. 1 Jesse Mendez (Ohio State) vs. No. 2 Beau Bartlett (Penn State)

Mendez survived a close one with North Carolina’s Lachlan McNeil, but the Big Ten champion will get another matchup with Bartlett. Mendez edged the Nittany Lion two weeks ago in the conference final.

149 lbs.

No. 4 Caleb Henson (Virginia Tech) vs. No. 6 Austin Gomez (Michigan)

Henson upset the top seeded Ridge Lovett of Nebraska by a point, razor thin. Gomez is headed to the NCAA finals so expect this one to be wild.

157 lbs.

No. 1 Levi Haines (Penn State) vs. No. 2 Jacori Teemer (Arizona State)

Haines survived Bryce Andonian of Virginia Tech with a late takedown and is back in the finals for the second straight year. Teemer made it a second finalist for Arizona State.

165 lbs.

No. 2 Mitchell Mesenbrink (Penn State) vs. No. 4 David Carr (Iowa State)

Carr stunned his rival Keegan O’Toole of Missouri with a late takedown and the arena absolutely exploded. Mesenbrink kept his undefeated season going and will get the former champ Saturday.

174 lbs.

No. 6 Rocco Welsh (Ohio State) vs No. 9 Carter Starocci (Penn State)

Starocci is back in the finals looking for his fourth title despite wrestling with an injured knee. Welsh, a freshman, will get his chance at the king of the weight class.

184 lbs.

No. 1 Parker Keckeisen (UNI) vs. No. 3 Dustin Plott (Oklahoma State)

Keckeisen cruised into the finals, putting up 10 points in his semifinal match. Meanwhile, Plott got the major decision over No. 2 Isaiah Salazar of Minnesota.

197 lbs.

No. 1 Aaron Brooks (Penn State) vs. No. 2 Trent Hidlay (NC State)

The matchup everyone wanted to see. Brooks will go for his fourth NCAA title and Hidlay will face him for the second time on this stage. History one way or another.

285 lbs.

No. 1 Greg Kerkvliet (Penn State) vs. vs. No. 10 Lucas Davison (Michigan)

Kerkvliet was dominant all tournament long as he searches for his first NCAA title after many years of success. This is his second straight year in the finals wrestling a Michigan man. Davison upset Air Force’s Wyatt Hendrickson en route to the finals.
