Carlsbad (Calif.) four-star quarterback Julian Sayin will be announcing his commitment on Nov. 2 and choosing between Alabama, Georgia and LSU. The news was reported by Greg Biggins.

Sayin is the No. 14 overall prospect and No. 2 quarterback in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 1 player in California.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pound signal-caller visited the Crimson Tide on Oct. 22 and the Tigers on Sept. 24. Meanwhile, his last trip to the Bulldogs was on April 1.

“They’re both high-level programs,” Sayin told On3’s Chad Simmons about Alabama and LSU. “They both won the national championship in the last three years. It’s definitely a tough decision. Those two programs are definitely very comparable.”

The Crimson Tide and Tigers do not have a quarterback commitment in their 2024 recruiting class. Meanwhile, Georgia got a pledge from Avon (Conn.) Avon Old Farms four-star quarterback Ryan Puglisi on Oct. 16.

According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Bulldogs have a close lead for Sayin’s pledge at 49.2%. The Tigers hold the next-best odds at 39.1%.

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Sayin has an On3 NIL Valuation of $130K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
