2024 Top-40 recruit Jonathan Echols sets commitment date
July is about to be a big month full of commitments by top recruits, and it won’t be just those in the 2023 class.
Jonathan Echols is a Top-40 prospect in the 2024 On300 and he’s decided he will make a decision next month.
“I’m going to commit on July 4,” Echols told On3.
This decision is coming much sooner than expected for the 6-foot-4, 215-pound EDGE out of Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy.

The four-star rising junior was originally looking to narrow his list down to 10 schools later this summer. He sees no reason to do that now.
“I’ve found my home, so I am ready to commit.”
Alabama, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Ohio State, and Tennessee are some schools Echols told On3 recently that he was high on.
