Class of 2025 tight end Hollis Davidson III of Peachtree City (GA) Mcintosh High announced his commitment to Auburn Tuesday evening.

The 6-foot-5, 235 pounder chose the Tigers over Miami, Florida, and Florida State.

“Everything about Auburn lined up with what I wanted in a school. The way they use their tight ends fits me. My relationship with coach Ben and Freeze. The values that the coaching staff prioritizes is what I value in life. Me and Ryan’s relationship is great and I’m excited to grow and compete with him. All that and it’s close to home, I couldn’t ask for anything better.”

His relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him played a role in his decision as well.

“Coach Ben is my guy. He is close with my family and we stay in touch very often. I talk to coach Freeze pretty often as well. Their plan with me is to use me more as an H until I develop into a true combo guy. I’ve had very minimal in line work in high school so that’s gonna be my biggest learning point. Ryan and I are a very good duo for their offense.”

The Peach State tight end joins coach Hugh Freeze and the Tigers’ top 10 2025 class. He is accompanied by four-star defensive lineman Antonio Coleman, four-star EDGE Jakaleb Faulk, and others.
