Houston (Texas) Klein Oak four-star cornerback Courtland Guillory is down to four schools and ready to make his commitment.

On Wednesday, Guillory announced he will make his decision public on Sunday, April 28, with Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M and UCF as his finalists.

The 6-foot-1, 170-pounder visited both the Sooners and Longhorns this spring, including a visit to Norman this past weekend. Coming out of that visit, it is shaping up to be a two-team battle between the hated rivals.

And that’s reflected in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM), where Oklahoma holds a slight edge over Texas after a pick in favor of OU from SoonerScoop.com’s Josh McCuistion. Last month, InsideTexas.com’s Eric Nahlin placed a prediction in Texas’ favor.

OU’s coaches are going on the road to visit prospects this week, and according to McCuistion, the tides have shifted in the Sooners’ favor.

“The possibility also remains that Oklahoma could get by to see spring game visitor Courtland Guillory, a player whose visit in Norman went so well that the Scoop staff has put in a prediction for the Sooners.”

Longhorns came in with an offer last month

Tennessee, Georgia Tech, Missouri, Arizona State, TCU, and Oregon State all have offered him as well, though only OU and Texas have received visits this spring.

Texas jumped into the mix with the Houston area defensive back in February, and he told Inside Texas that the ‘Horns are definitely in his top three after his Under Armour Next Camp in Dallas.

Oklahoma, Texas A&M, and Arizona State are the other programs in the mix. He has official visits currently scheduled to ASU on May 31, Texas on June 7, Kansas on June 14, and OU on June 21.

Guillory is the No. 354 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the country’s No. 32 cornerback and the No. 57 recruit in Texas.
