4-star offensive lineman Daniel Calhoun sets commitment date

Roswell (Ga.) Walton four-star offensive lineman Daniel Calhoun is ready to take the final step in his recruitment.
On Thursday, Calhoun said he will commit on July 5 and will choose between Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee and Texas.
“I’m really still thinking about it,” he told On3. “I’m probably going to talk to my family tomorrow and see what they’re feeling like and what I’m feeling like. Development is key, I’m trying to make it to the NFL. And I just want a good relationship with the players and coaches.”
Calhoun took official visits with each of those five programs in the month of June, and they were key in helping him work toward a decision.
“It was really important,” he said. “I got to spend time with the coaches and players, pick their brains a little bit.”
