4-star RB Kory Amachree commits to Kansas Jayhawks

Last week, Lansing (Mich.) Haslett four-star running back Kory Amachree announced that he was down to Duke, Harvard, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan State and Pitt in his recruitment.
Less than a week later, he’s off the board to the Jayhawks, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. His decision comes after a recent official visit with the Hoosiers, as well as one to Kansas last month.
The 6-foot, 195-pounder is the No. 367 overall prospect and No. 26 RB in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 6 player in Michigan.
On3 ranks him higher than other recruiting services. According to the On300, Amachree is the No. 244 recruit overall, No. 22 RB and No. 4 player in Michigan.
