4-star RB Trevor Etienne down to three schools

Four-star running back Trevor Etienne of Jennings (La.) High has narrowed his list of colleges down to three schools– Clemson, LSU, and Florida.
The 5-foot-10, 200 pounder announced a top five back in August, this time around he cut Alabama and Georgia from contention.
“At these three schools I feel like I can maximize my potential,” Etienne said. “Not only by becoming a better person and player, but in the classroom as well while chasing my dreams of playing in the NFL.”
Etienne had this to say about the final three schools in August.
Family connection at Clemson for Trevor Etienne
“Clemson feels like home, being that I have a great relationship with everyone there, coaches and players,” Etienne said. “I also know how they develop players because I saw it first hand with my brother.”
Etienne fits well in LSU offense and is close to home
“I feel like I would be a perfect fit to their offense,” Etienne said. “I like how they now throw the ball more to the running back out of the backfield, and it’s close to home.”

Florida is close to Etienne family
“Florida is a great school,” Etienne said. “I love the vision they have for the program, and it’s close to my brother, so that would be easier on my family to get back and forth to support the both of us.”
Trevor Etienne ranks as the No. 282 player in the On3 Consensus Rankings, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average. He also comes in as the No. 22 running back, and the fourteenth-best player in Louisiana.
Trevor Etienne is the younger brother of Travis, who was a two-time ACC Player of the Year at Clemson. In his Clemson career, he rushed for 8,864 yards and 115 total touchdowns and went on to be selected in the first round of the NFL draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
