Spring (Texas) North Shore four-star wide receiver Quanell Farrakhan is down to three schools in his recruitment, he announced on Sunday.

Among the remaining contenders are Alabama, Texas A&M and Nebraska.

Farrakhan is coming off an unofficial visit to Tuscaloosa earlier this month, and he has been on campus at Texas A&M on a number of occasions. He received an offer from the Aggies’ new staff under Mike Elko in mid-January as well.

As a junior, Farrakhan had an impressive season last fall for The Woodlands (Texas) High School with 46 receptions for 806 yards and 12 touchdowns. He also added another five rushing scores and two more touchdowns on interceptions and kick/punt return.

This spring, he transferred to Houston-area powerhouse North Shore.

The 5-foot-11, 175-pounder is the No. 235 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 31 wide receiver and the No. 37 recruit in the Lone Star State.
