The schedule has some interesting matchups

The most intriguing game on the Week 12 slate in the ACC is undoubtedly Wake Forest at Clemson. Despite struggles, Clemson is 7-3 on the season and 5-2 against ACC opponents. Wake Forest has completely dominated offensively this season, setting up an interesting matchup with Clemson’s defense. The Tigers will likely need to have their best offensive performance of the year to have a chance.

Week 12 in the ACC gets kicked off with Louisville at Duke on Thursday night. Louisville enters the matchup 5-5 overall and 3-4 in the ACC. Duke is 3-7 and winless in six ACC games. North Carolina (5-5) takes on a 1-9 Wofford team at home in Chapel Hill. Georgia Tech is 3-7 on the year and will enter Saturday’s game at Notre Dame as heavy underdogs.

Virginia at Pittsburgh is an interesting matchup. The Cavaliers lost convincingly against Notre Dame last week to fall to 6-4 overall. Pittsburgh enters the game with an impressive 8-2 record and a 5-1 mark in the ACC, posing as another tough game for Virginia.

Syracuse (5-5, 2-4) travels to Raleigh to take on a NC State (7-3, 4-2). The Wolfpack are coming off of a close loss to Wake Forest last week. Virginia Tech and Miami make up the final game of the Week 12 ACC schedule. Both teams have seen significant struggles but also solid patches this season. Both teams enter the matchup 5-5 and 3-3 against ACC opponents.

Wake Forests leads the ACC Atlantic while Pittsburgh leads the ACC Coastal through 11 weeks.
