Heavily recruited junior offensive lineman Bradyn Joiner of Auburn, Ala., said in a social media post on Monday that he’s most interested in eight schools.

The schools that made the cut for Joiner, who is 6-foot-1 and 330 pounds, were: UCF, Mississippi State, Michigan State, Penn State, Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia and Ole Miss. Joiner did also say in the post that his “recruitment is still open,” though.

Earlier this summer, Joiner released a top 10 list that included Auburn, Arizona State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Mississippi State, Michigan State, Ole Miss, UCF and Virginia Tech. The Sun Devils, Yellow Jackets, Hoosiers and Hokies were not included in this most recent update.

Joiner claims more than 30 scholarship offers, including from most of the teams that made his top eight.

Bradyn Joiner has been impressed with Auburn, Georgia

Georgia has been one of Bradyn Joiner’s most frequent stops over the last few years. He told On3’s Jeremy Johnson earlier this month that he has built a connection with the program.

“Athens is a great place to be, the fans are electric down there,” Joiner said. “It’s a great environment to be in. The coaches down there coach Kirby (Smart), coach (Matt) Luke and coach Tray Scott are great people in general outside of football. That’s what makes them a great pick for me.”

Bradyn Joiner now lives in Auburn. The Tigers’ coaching staff is new but full of familiar faces for Joiner.

“I’ve always been close with coach Will Friend and coach Mike Bobo over the years,” Joiner said. “They offered me at their old schools. I have to get to know coach (Bryan) Harsin a little more since he’s been a new coach. I hadn’t really heard of him or anything like that until he came here.”

Bradyn Joiner said what he sees on visit this fall will influence his decision, whenever that comes.

“The environments, the fans and how the coaches treat me, and the style of play has to fit my game,” Joiner said.
