Andy Katz has his eyes on the 2023 NCAA Tournament, and some redemptions stories in particular.

Evidently, the FOX college basketball analyst loves a good comeback story as much as the rest of us. In a video shared to Twitter, Katz revealed the ten teams he believes will make the 2023 NCAA Tournament after missing last season’s iteration.

Andy Katz: Ten teams who will make the ’23 Tournament after missing in 2022

1) Dayton Flyers “Let’s start at No. 1. Dayton, the Flyers,” Katz started. “Could be the pick in the A10, led by DaRon Holmes.”

2) Virginia Cavaliers — Reece Beekman, I think will have a major season for Tony Bennett to get back,” theorized Katz.

3) Xavier Musketeers — “New head coach Sean Miller, led by Colby Jones,” Katz pointed out.

4) Saint Louis Billikens — Travis Ford gets the Billikens back into the NCAA Tournament,” predicted the college basketball analyst.

5) Oregon Ducks — “Odd year that they didn’t make it,” Katz stated. “Will Richardson will deliver for the Ducks next season.”

6) Texas A&M Aggies“Look for a couple of transfers to help Buzz Williams get the Aggies into the NCAA Tournament,” the FOX analyst said.

7) Oklahoma State Cowboys — Avery Anderson is going to have a huge year again for the Cowboys,” predicted Katz.

8) St. John’s Red Storm — Posh Alexander and Andre Curbelo, the transfer from Illinois,” explained the hoops expert.

9 Oklahoma Sooners — Grant Sherfield, coming over from Nevada to Norman, Oklahoma to play for Porter Moser,” Katz stated, think the move will pay dividends. “I think the Sooners get in.”

10) Oral Roberts Golden Eagles — “After missing it last season, season before the Sweet 16. Max Abmas is back at Oral Roberts. Oral Roberts, back in in 2023,” theorized Katz.

As you can see, Andy Katz will be watching some redemption arcs closely in 2023. There are plenty of great candidates to return to the NCAA Tournament after missing last season’s event, but the FOX analyst laid out ten strong picks.
