Three-star Gadsden County (Fla.) linebacker Daylen Green has committed to Arkansas after his official visit with the Razorbacks over the weekend.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder chose Sam Pittman and Co. over offers from Florida State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Colorado, Louisville, South Florida, Boston College, and others.

“After a long recruiting process I want to thank all the schools who recruited me!” Green wrote on Twitter. “After much prayer and talks with my Mom, I have decided to commit to the University of Arkansas! WOO PIG SOOIE!”

As a junior, Green totaled 111 tackles and 4 TFLs, while also hauling in 9 catches for 153 yards and a touchdown as a junior to lead the Jaguars to the Class 2A state final.

He checks in as the nation’s No. 713 overall prospect, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. In addition to that, he ranks as the country’s No. 66 safety and the No. 99 recruit in the Sunshine State.
