Baylor picks up commitment from 2026 IOL Donel Robinson
Lexington (Miss.) Holmes County three-star interior offensive lineman Donel Robinson has committed to Dave Aranda and the Baylor Bears.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder chose the Big 12 program over Florida State. The likes of LSU, Auburn, Ole Miss, Oregon and Tennessee have also offered.
He is the No. 488 overall prospect and No. 43 IOL in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 18 player in Mississippi.
Robinson announced his decision on Tuesday evening, fresh off an official visit to Florida State. He made his way down to Waco for an OV earlier this month and is now the second commitment of the day for the Bears, following Frisco (Texas) Lone Star four-star safety Jordan Deck.
Robinson is the third non in-state commit for Baylor so far this cycle. The class now ranks No. 41 in the nation, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. That’s good for No. 4 in the Big 12, checking in ahead of BYU, TCU, Oklahoma State, Iowa State and others.

Baylor adds pair of pledges following final June OV weekend
Monday morning brought a big commitment from Deck, one of the top defensive backs in the Lone Star State this cycle. He checks in as the No. 25 safety in the nation and is now one of four DBs committed to Baylor thus far.
Waco Connally four-star cornerback Jamarion Vincent remains the top-ranked commit in the class. Vincent, who pledged at the end of January, is On3’s No. 108 prospect and No. 13 corner. Texarkana Pleasant Grove three-star CB Jamarion Richardson and Plano HSAA three-star safety Jordan Davis are also in the fold.
Waco University four-star wide receiver London Smith chose Baylor over other top in-state programs in January, too. He’s a top-300 recruit and the No. 50 pass-catcher this cycle.
Mesquite Horn three-star offensive tackle Kole Seaton, Austin Liberty Christian three-star quarterback Quinn Murphy, Temple Lake Belton three-star WR Davion Peters, Dallas South Oak Cliff three-star linebacker Jamarion Phillips and Trophy Club Byron Nelson tight end Parker Almanza help round out the class.
