On3 has updated its 2024 player rankings after the completion of the high school regular season, and a number of prospects were major stock-risers over the course of the past three months. While there is still another rankings release in January to come after the postseason all-star circuit, this group of coveted recruits showed on the field this fall exactly what made them so sought-after to begin with.

On3 national scout Cody Bellaire breaks down a handful of the biggest movers in the new update and what they put on tape that should have fans of their future programs very excited:

4-star TE Luke Reynolds – Penn State commit

Scout’s Take: “Luke Reynolds has put together quite the senior season. He is a complete player at the position from a skillset perspective and has shown some flashes of truly elite YAC ability. He is what the modern hybrid offensive player looks like at the next level. His ability to play as an H-back, in-line Y, slot receiver and true wideout makes him a complete mismatch no matter where he lines up between the white lines.”

4-star EDGE Bryce Young – Notre Dame commit

Scout’s Take: “Bryce Young has continued to show excellent development at the position throughout his senior season. He continues to fill out physically throughout his frame and still maintains the tremendous get off and burst at the line of scrimmage that sets him apart from his peers. Add some advancement in his pass rush ability and better understanding of hand usage and you have a player who is proving that his ceiling was simply not high enough before the season began.”

4-star RB Kewan Lacy

Scout’s Take: “Kewan Lacy was a player that we had a big magnifying glass on going into this season and he has more than proven his case to be a true three-down back at the next level. His burst and ability to get upfield for his size has always been impressive. But he has continued to improve his skills in the passing game and that has more than cemented his status as one of the premier players at the running back position for the 2024 recruiting cycle.”

4-star CB Jamari Howard – Florida State commit

Scout’s Take: “Jamari Howard has always been an impressive physical specimen that plays with a mean streak. And for his senior season he has continued to step on the gas and play with a tenacity on the football field that is simply infectious. His ability to win at the line of scrimmage and reroute receivers while staying in phase and getting his hands on the football will make him a force as a boundary corner at the next level. He has shown an increased ability to win at the line of scrimmage and has proven he can use his length to consistently win at the line of scrimmage and at the catch point.”

4-star RB Matthew Fuller – South Carolina commit

Scout’s Take: “Matthew Fuller is someone that we felt showed some promise at the end of last season. His athletic ability combined with his natural running style and production as a junior was eye-popping. And after seeing him repeat that level of production and still maintain his athletic ability while gaining mass has shown that he has the physical and athletic tools to become a huge factor in the run game at the next level and should be able to make a seamless transition to college football early on in his college career.”

4-star DL Elias Williams – Missouri commit

Scout’s Take: “Elias Williams has always been a freak along the defensive line from a physical standpoint. His 6-foot-10 wingspan and 10-inch hands allow him to carry immense weight in his frame and he has shown during his senior season that not only can he add the necessary weight to play along the interior at the next level, but he can also still move around like the EDGE prospect we originally projected him to play at the next level. Players with that size with those movement skills are rare and we expect Williams to thrive under collegiate coaching at the next level.”

4-star QB Will Hammond – Texas Tech commit

Scout’s Take: “Will Hammond is someone that impressed us during the off-season prior to his senior season at the Elite 11. He shined in a setting that was full of immense talent and continued that momentum into his senior season where he has been putting up video game numbers all season long. But not only can he light up the scoreboard, Hammond has shown that he can step up and put his team into positions to win and has delivered countless times in clutch situations as a senior.”

4-star DL D’Antre Robinson – Texas commit

Scout’s Take: “D’Antre Robinson has always had the size to translate to nose tackle at the next level. His functional strength and raw power at the point of attack has been on display for years, but as a senior he appears to move better than we have ever seen from him in years past and he looks more comfortable in pass rushing situations than ever before. The 6-foot-3, 300+ pounder has the physical tools and athletic ability to be an early contributor at the next level along the interior defensive line.”
