Akot — a 6-foot-8 small forward — spent the last two years at Boise State, where he averaged 10.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 2.8 assists during the 2021-22 season. He shot 40-percent from the floor and 37.8-percent from three.

The native of Canada began his career at Arizona. During his two years with the Wildcats, Akot averaged three points in less than 15 minutes per contest.
