Boston College, Pittsburgh offer 2025 RB Michael Dabney Jr.

Chester (Va.) Life Christian Academy freshman running back Michael Dabney Jr. snagged two offers from ACC programs in two days this week.
Pittsburgh offered Dabney on Tuesday before conference foe Boston College extended an offer Wednesday to Dabney.
Michael Dabney wasn’t the only Chester (Va.) Life Christian Academy player to be offered by the Panthers this week.
Pittsburgh also offered 2023 defensive back Kenneth “BJ” Lowery II, 2024 athlete Kamari Loving and eighth-grade running back Kel Dabney.
Chester (Va.) Life Christian Academy played Hyattsville (Md.) DeMatha Catholic on Friday, losing the game 14-0.

Michael Dabney Jr. started as an eighth grader
Michael Dabney Jr. has been a key contributor to Chester (Va.) Life Christian Academy since last fall when he was in the eighth grade.
In fact, his first offer came before his eighth-grade season began from Maryland.
In his first varsity game, he finished with 11 carries for 127 yards. During the five-game 2020 fall season, Dabney finished with 37 attempts for 452 rushing yards and six catches for 73 yards. He has continued that success since then for Chester (Va.) Life Christian Academy
Michael Dabney was so impressive during his first season that he was nominated for the 2020 Mark L. Fischer Player of the Year Award, which is given to the best player in the Richmond, Va., area.
Nigel James won the award. He is currently a freshman for DIII Emory & Henry College. The 2019 award winner was current Ohio State star Treveyon Henderson.
