Chatsowrth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon defensive lineman Cameron Brandt is in the midst of a Pac-12 recruitment right now, with offers from six of the league’s 12 programs to his name.

Arizona, Cal, Washington, Oregon, Oregon State, and as of yesterday USC, are on his offer list, as is Nevada. Brandt visited Cal and Washington in January before the recruiting dead period. And this weekend he tripped up the road to USC, where the Trojans extended an offer.

“I’m at a good place right now, I just got the offer from USC yesterday,” Brandt told On3’s Joseph Hastings ahead of the Under Armour Camp Series stop in Los Angeles. “It’s going pretty good.”

He had positive reviews of his trip to see the Trojans, both on social media and in conversation with Hastings.

“It was a good talk with Coach Riley,” Brandt added. “I’ve been talking with the defensive line coach, Coach Nua, for a minute now. So finally getting up there and them seeing me, it’s great. Especially where they’re going now and just building their program with Coach Riley and everyone. It’s a great opportunity. The overall energy [stood out], the vibe, great hospitality. I didn’t get a bad vibe from any of the coaches.”

Brandt has two more spring visits on the docket, with a scheduled trip to Arizona on March 19 Arizona and a to-be-determined date at Oregon in April.

Asked what stands out about the Ducks, Brandt said it’s both on and off the field.

“Right now, their D-line coach is pretty cool,” he said. “Their life after football portion, that connection with Nike — that stands out.”

Cameron Brandt added that he doesn’t have any decision timelines set and is open to new offers.
