Four-star offensive tackle Carter Lowe of Toledo (OH) Whitmer High announced his commitment to Ohio State Saturday afternoon.

The 6-foot-6, 310 pounder chose the Buckeyes over Georgia, Alabama, and Michigan.

“Overall the culture stood out to me. It’s something I knew I had to be a part of. They have made me feel extremely at home since day one. The relationship I had with Coach Day and Coach Frye was like no others.”

His relationship with the coaching staff and their plan for him played a role in his decision as well.

“I’m closest with coach Frye, he has made me a priority for them since the day they offered me. Their plan for me is to be developed all around, as a person and a player, to the highest ability.”

The Buckeye State offensive lineman joins coach Ryan Day and the Buckeyes’ top 3 2025 class. He is accompanied by five-star cornerback Devin Sanchez, four-star quarterback Tavien St. Clair, and others.
