CBS Sports Top 25 and 1 gets shaken up after upset-filled Tuesday
Following a wild night of marquee games and upsets on Tuesday, CBS Sports college basketball insider Gary Parrish released his updated Top 25 and 1 once again. See how college basketball’s best teams stack up as conference play continues in the final month of the regular season.
Among the biggest games on Tuesday’s slate, Auburn traveled to face Arkansas on the road with their No. 1 ranking on the line against a red-hot team. UConn and Santa Clara also pulled off upsets at home while Wisconsin topped Michigan State and Purdue took care of Illinois. The big slate of upsets shook up the CBS Sports Top 25 and 1 heading into the rest of the week.
The Big East and Big Ten lead the way in representation in the CBS Sports Top 25 and 1 with five teams, then the SEC and Big 12 have four. The Pac-12 and ACC have only one teams listed now as mid-majors take over the back half of the rankings.
