Here are our 1-130 rankings after Week 7.

There is one new team in the top 10 and four in the top 25, and there was a lot of reshuffling all over the place.

Here are this week’s 1-130 rankings; the rankings are updated every Tuesday during the season. There are comments on each of the top-25 teams; in addition, there are comments on other noteworthy teams this week.

The top 25

1. Georgia (7-0 / last week’s ranking: 1st)
The buzz: About the only thing that has gone wrong for Georgia this season is that Jack Podlesny missed the extra point following Georgia’s fourth touchdown in the impressive rout of Kentucky. That snapped Georgia’s NCAA-record streak of made extra points at 363. The streak dated to 2014 and encompassed six kickers.

2. Oklahoma (7-0 / 3rd)
The buzz: For the past six quarters at least, true freshman QB Caleb Williams has fixed what had ailed the Sooners’ offense. In those six quarters, Williams has led OU to 87 points and 895 total yards.

3. Cincinnati (6-0 / 4th)
The buzz: Let’s be real here: To get into the College Football Playoff, the Bearcats need to win out — and do so in a dominating manner.

4. Ohio State (5-1 / 5th)
The buzz: The Buckeyes are averaging 8.55 yards per play and a solid Indiana defense is next on the schedule.

5. Penn State (5-1 / 6th)
The buzz: The health of QB Sean Clifford remains an unknown, but, truthfully, his presence shouldn’t matter this week against Illinois.

6. Alabama (6-1 / 7th)
The buzz: The Tide bounced back from a loss to Texas A&M by blowing out Mississippi State. This week, Alabama welcomes in Tennessee — a team it has beaten 14 times in a row.

7. Oklahoma State (7-0 / 10th)
The buzz: The Cowboys keep moseying along, relying on their rushing attack and their defense to stay perfect. There’s a big one this week, when they travel to Iowa State for one of the biggest Big 12 games of the season.

8. Iowa (6-1 / 2nd)
The buzz: It took seven games, but someone finally got the best of Iowa’s defense. That it was Purdue was surprising. And you want to scare Iowa DBs on Halloween? Wear Purdue jersey No. 3 — David Bell’s number. He has had a season’s worth of production in three career games against the Hawkeyes (37 catches for 558 yards and five touchdowns).

9. Oregon (5-1 / 9th)
The buzz: The Ducks are one of just two teams in the nation (Coastal Carolina is the other) to rush for at least 180 yards in every game this season.

10. Michigan State (7-0 / 11th)
The buzz: The Spartans are coming off a narrow win over Indiana and now get a week off before they welcome in rival Michigan. That should be … interesting.

11. Michigan (6-0 / 12th)
The buzz: This week’s game with Northwestern shouldn’t be that tough, but games with Michigan State, Penn State and Ohio State still loom.

12. Ole Miss (5-1 / 14th)
The buzz: Ole Miss’ defense (!) actually stepped up and was a big reason for the win over Tennessee. But the defense needs to play well again this week because a visit from LSU has gotten more interesting after the Tigers rediscovered their rushing attack in a win over Florida.

13. Kentucky (6-1 / 13th)
The buzz: UK suffered its first loss of the season, to Georgia. Still, there remains legit hope for a New Year’s Six bowl bid: The Wildcats figure to be favored in their five remaining games (Mississippi State, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, New Mexico State and Louisville).

14. Wake Forest (6-0 / 16th)
The buzz: The Demon Deacons are 6-0 for the first time since 1944. They got to 7-0 that season before losing. Wake plays at Army this week.

15. Texas A&M (5-2 / 18th)
The buzz: The SEC East portion of the Aggies’ schedule — also known as the “man, this is like getting two off weeks in the middle of the season” part of the schedule — is half over; they pounded Missouri this past Saturday and get South Carolina this week.

16. Baylor (6-1 / 33rd)
The buzz: The Bears ran all over tough-minded BYU this past Saturday, and now they get a week off to prepare for a visit from Texas.

17. Notre Dame (5-1 / 17th)
The buzz: The Fighting Irish welcome in USC this week in what usually is one of the most eagerly anticipated nonconference games of the season. “Usually” doesn’t mean “always,” though, and this season’s game gets an “Ehhh” from most folks.

18. NC State (5-1 / 22nd)
The buzz: The Wolfpack were dominant in dispatching Boston College on the road, the first game in a five-week stretch in which NCSU plays just once at home.

19. Coastal Carolina (6-0 / 21st)
The buzz: The Chanticleers’ toughest remaining regular-season game is Wednesday at Appalachian State. In other words, a win Wednesday and 12-0 is easily attainable.

20. SMU (6-0 / 24th)
The buzz: The Mustangs play host to Tulane, which is 1-5, on Thursday. But then three of the next four are on the road, including showdowns against Houston and Cincinnati.

21. Louisiana (5-1 / 25th)
The buzz:
Other than a road game at Liberty, which hasn’t been as good as expected, the schedule the rest of the way is as soft as wet tissue paper.

22. Auburn (5-2 / 30th)
The buzz: Bo Nix played high-level football (292 passing yards, accounted for three TDs) in the win over Arkansas — and that big-time performance came on the road!

23. Iowa State (4-2 / 32nd)
The buzz: There was a big preseason buzz about the Cyclones, but it went away. The buzz will return if they beat visiting Oklahoma State this week.

24. Arizona State (5-2 / 8th)
The buzz: Both losses have come in Utah, to BYU and to the Utes. And in those two games, Arizona State was penalized a combined 29 times for 236 yards (that’s an average of 14.5 in the two games). In its five wins, ASU was penalized a total of 38 times (that’s an average of 7.6, basically half as many).

25. San Diego State (6-0 / 45th)
The buzz: The Aztecs’ Week 3 victory over Utah, which now is in control in the Pac-12 South, helps them zoom up the rankings. SDSU’s offense is nothing special, but its defense has been playing lights out.

Teams 26-50

26. Utah (4-2 / 49th)

27. Pitt (5-1 / 52nd)
The buzz: Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, but Saturday’s matchup with visiting Clemson looks to be the toughest game left for the Panthers. After Clemson, Pitt plays Miami, Duke, North Carolina, Virginia and Syracuse.

28. Fresno State (5-2 / 28th)
29. UCLA (5-2 / 29th)
30. Arkansas (4-3 / 15th)
31. Clemson (4-2 / 26th)
32. Texas (4-3 / 19th)
33. Kansas State (3-3 / 31st)
34. BYU (5-2 / 20th)
35. Boston College (4-2 / 27th)

36. Nevada (5-1 / 36th)
The buzz: If the Wolf Pack has any designs on winning the Mountain West West Division race, beating Fresno State on Saturday basically is a must. The quarterback battle between Carson Strong and Fresno’s Jake Haener should be a good one. Both defenses are aggressive: Fresno State is fourth nationally with 56 tackles for loss and Nevada is second in the nation with 27 sacks.

37. UTSA (7-0 / 51st)
38. Houston (5-1 / 44th)
39. Wisconsin (3-3 / 39th)

40. LSU (4-3 / 41st)
The buzz: Ed Orgeron is gone at the end of the season, but rediscovering the running game may mean the Tigers can get to a bowl in his final season.

41. Florida (4-3 / 23rd)
42. Mississippi State (3-3 / 34th)
43. Virginia (5-2 / 46th)
44. Maryland (4-2 / 43rd)
45. TCU (3-3 / 37th)

46. Texas Tech (5-2 / 50th)
The buzz: It has been a nice start to the season, no doubt. But the closing stretch is brutal: Kansas State, at Oklahoma, Iowa State, Oklahoma State and at Baylor.

47. Purdue (4-2 / 66th)
48. Louisville (3-3 / 47th)
49. Western Michigan (5-2 / 56th)
50. Appalachian State (4-2 / 48th)

Teams 51-75

51. Washington State (4-3 / 74th)
52. Oregon State (4-2 / 55th)

53. Minnesota (4-2 / 68th)
The buzz: Despite season-ending injuries to their top two running backs, the Golden Gophers could be 5-1. How in the world did they lose to Bowling Green?

54. Tennessee (4-3 / 54th)
55. Indiana (2-4 / 40th)
56. Stanford (3-4 / 35th)
57. Boise State (3-4 / 38th)
58. North Carolina (4-3 / 58th)
59. UAB (5-2 / 61st)
60. West Virginia (2-4 / 60th)

61. Virginia Tech (3-3 / 42nd)
The buzz: The ticking sound you hear? It’s probably the clock on the time Justin Fuente has left with the Hokies. There’s a nice win over North Carolina, but the other two victories are against Middle Tennessee State and FCS Richmond. Still, a bowl is attainable.

62. USC (3-3 / 62nd)
63. Air Force (6-1 / 79th)
64. Liberty (5-2 / 53rd)

65. Nebraska (3-5 / 57th)
The buzz: There appeared to be a glimmer of hope after a 56-7 demolition of Northwestern got the Huskers to 3-3. But they’ve lost two in a row, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if they lost out (Purdue, Ohio State, Wisconsin and Iowa are left on the schedule).

66. Florida State (2-4 / 67th)
67. Miami (2-4 / 59th)
68. UCF (3-3 / 63rd)
69. Missouri (3-4 / 64th)

70. Rutgers (3-4 / 65th)
The buzz: The Scarlet Knights have dropped four in a row, and the offense has disappeared. Rutgers has scored 46 points in the four losses.

71. Kent State (3-4 / 69th)
72. Tulsa (3-3 / 72nd)
73. Georgia Tech (3-3 / 73rd)
74. Syracuse (3-4 / 71st)
75. Memphis (4-3 / 75th)

Teams 76-100

76. Washington (2-4 / 70th)
77. South Carolina (4-3 / 76th)
78. East Carolina (3-3 / 78th)

79. Utah State (4-2 / 83rd)
The buzz:
Just call the Aggies “The Cardiac Kids.” They have trailed at halftime in every game this season and have been behind going into the fourth quarter in five of their six games.

80. Wyoming (4-2 / 80th)
81. Ball State (4-3 / 81st)
82. Tulane (1-5 / 82nd)
83. Louisiana Tech (2-4 / 77th)
84. Marshall (4-3 / 84th)

85. California (1-5 / 85th)
The buzz: Yes, the only win is over a FCS team. But four of Cal’s losses have come by seven or fewer points, and the other was 21-6 to Washington State.

86. Illinois (2-5 / 86th)
87. Central Michigan (4-3 / 94th)
88. Colorado (2-4 / 89th)
89. Northern Illinois (5-2 / 90th)

90. UTEP (6-1 / 112th)
The buzz: This is just the second time since 2005 that the Miners have at won at least six games. The six wins this season are one more than the past four seasons combined.

91. Army (4-2 / 92nd)
92. Northwestern (3-3 / 97th)
93. FAU (3-3 / 93rd)

94. Toledo (3-4 / 87th)
The buzz: The Rockets have been a disappointment this season; they haven’t finished with a losing record since 2009.

95. Hawaii (3-4 / 88th)
96. Buffalo (3-4 / 96th)
97. Colorado State (3-3 / 95th)
98. San Jose State (3-4 / 91st)

107. Georgia State (2-4 / 106th)
108. Bowling Green (2-5 / 107th)
109. Temple (3-3 / 108th)
110. South Alabama (4-2 / 119th)

111. ULM (3-3 / 123rd)
The buzz: All hail Terry Bowden: The Warhawks stunned Hugh Freeze and Liberty as a 32.5-point underdog this past Saturday. It was one of the five biggest upsets this century.

Calum Sutherland nailed a 53-yard field goal with 1:44 left to lift ULM to the huge upset of Liberty. (Siddharth Gaulee/ULM Athletics)

112. Troy (4-3 / 120th)

114. North Texas (1-5 / 114th)
115. Kansas (1-5 / 113th)

116. Vanderbilt (2-5 / 116th)
The buzz: After Vandy took a 20-14 lead with 1:36 left, the Commodores proceeded to let South Carolina drive 75 yards in eight plays in 1:01 for the game-winning TD. Gamecocks QB Zeb Noland, who hadn’t played to that point, was 5-of-8 for 75 yards on the drive.

117. Georgia Southern (2-5 / 109th)

125. Southern Miss (1-5 / 125th)
126. New Mexico (2-5 / 126th)
